The Lyman & Sheets Insurance Agency was formed in Michigan by the state's first Insurance Commissioner in 1874.  Today, the Lyman & Sheets Insurance Agency performs not only traditional insurance risk transfers, but is actively involved in Risk Management and Risk Consulting, including alternative risk transfer. 

The staff at Lyman & Sheets has worked with municipalities, school districts, manufacturers, wholesalers and many other public and private industry operations.  The agency has clients located in thirty-five states and a number of foreign countries.  Our staff is able to handle all your insurance needs. 

Lyman & Sheets Insurance Agency is proud to have served the Lansing, Michigan community for over 100 years.  We actively support local organizations including The Wharton Center for the Performing Arts at Michigan State University, Highfields, The United Way, and The March of Dimes.
