Accounting
Team:
Controller
The
agency controller is responsible for working with the management
team to develop financial goals, manage the agency?s cash flow
and maximize investment income.
In addition, the controller monitors the agency?s
operating budget, income and expense goals, solvency, liquidity
and productivity ratios and enforces the agency?s credit and
collections policy. Qualifications
include a degree in accounting, excellent communication skills,
and the ability to work as part of a team.
Accounting
Assistant
The
accounting assistant assists the controller with the accounting
and collection functions of the agency. Responsibilities include posting receipts, sending invoices
and past due statements, reconciling direct bill commissions,
auditing accounts payable and producer statements, printing
checks and processing state licensing paperwork.
The person in this position processes renewals,
endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, premium adjustments
and audits. In
addition, this person is responsible for invoicing new business,
printing memo bills and requesting motor vehicle records.
Qualifications include attention to detail, date entry
skills, problem solving skills, communication skills and the
ability to work as part of a team.
Service
Team
Service
Operations Manager
The
service operations manager is responsible for all human resource
functions within the agency including recruiting, hiring,
performance reviews, and resolving employee performance and
personnel issues. Additional
responsibilities include operational functions, training program
and participation in the business planning and budgeting
process. Qualifications
include leadership, communication, decision-making skills and
the ability to work as part of a team.
Marketing
Manager
The
marketing manager is responsible for marketing new business and
large renewals and serves as the key liaison between insurance
company underwriting staff and agency sales team.
Responsibilities include analyzing producer submissions
for quality and completion and making recommendations to
producer regarding coverage, companies, pricing and
cross-selling opportunities.
In addition, the marketing manager develops comparisons
and proposals, submits applications to carriers and negotiates
pricing. Qualifications include expertise in commercial insurance
coverage, underwriting and rating, strong communication and
follow-up skills and the ability tow work as part of a team.
Commercial
Lines Account Manager
A
commercial lines account manager is responsible for performing
all account transactions including proposals, endorsements,
certificates, applications, binders, renewals, follow-up and
correspondence on assigned commercial accounts.
Also, respond to client inquiries, company requests and
producer needs in a timely manner. Qualifications include problem solving skills, communication
skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills and the ability
to work as part of a team.
Experience in commercial insurance and customer service
preferred.
Personal
Lines Customer Service Agent
A
personal lines agent processes all account transactions
including applications, quotations,
ID
cards, endorsements, claims and renewals,
In addition, agent is responsible for consulting clients
on their insurance needs account rounding and timely follow-up
to client inquiries and company requests.
Qualifications include strong communication, follow-up,
problem solving and organizational skills. Experience in personal insurance and customer service
preferred.
Receptionist
Receptionist
serves as the initial contact for all clients as they visit or
call the office. Responsibilities
include answering and directing all incoming calls, greeting and
assisting clients, processing of all incoming faxes and mail,
sort and apply postage to outgoing mail. and arranging for
maintenance of office equipment.
Qualifications include general computer and office
equipment skills, strong communication skills and the ability to
work as part of a team.
File
Clerk / Office Assistant
Clerical
responsibilities include filing, updating manuals, making
copies, putting together proposal binders and making cover
sheets for them, data entry, scanning documents and additional
special projects as needed.
Qualifications include word processing skills,
organizational skills, ability to follow directions and to work
as part of a team.
Sales
Team
Producer
A
producer is primarily responsible for selling commercial
insurance packages. A
producer is expected to maintain a prospect list for agency?s
targeted business, contact prospects, make sales presentations
and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.
In addition, a producer completes and submits application
information to the service team and assists in collecting
renewal information. Qualifications
include insurance product knowledge, communication skills, sales
experience and the ability to work as part of a team.
